Gradebook Codes . . . What do they mean?

  • If you see "MSG" , this means you have a missing assignment.  This will count as a ZERO in the gradebook.
  • If you see "INC", this means you have an incomplete and need to complete the assignment and turn it in for your grade (used when you are absent).  This does not hurt your grade, but you need to complete the assignment and turn it in or it will convert to a ZERO.
  • If you see "EXC", this means you are excused from the assignment (very rare).  This does not help or hurt your grade.

A little bit about Mr. Tader

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Michael Tader.  I am beginning my 16th year teaching at Sauganash.  Previously, I taught 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies and 5th grade Language Arts, Social Studies and Science.  This is the sizth year I have taught 3rd and 4th grade Science.  I received my bachelor's degree from Northeastern Illinois University and my master's degree from National Louis University.  In May 2017, I finished my ELL endorsement with National Louis University.
